“One often drives past this area without knowing which outstanding companies there are located”, complimented Holmeier.
The meeting was arranged by emz’ HR employee Markus Block who was working as a trainee in the office of the Member of the Bundestag for one week recently.
The high number of employees and in addition, the outstanding trainee and apprenticeship programs at emz internally surprised Mr. Holmeier pretty much.
Holmeier was also impressed by emz’ in-house production depth as well as by the annual investments for research and development.
As a matter of fact, the visit has been a perfect opportunity for emz to address special concerns and requests to the German Government, too. The need for high speed data lines and the TTIP were just as well discussed as the inheritance tax for family owned companies.
