TOOL MECHANIC (m/f/d)

As a tool mechanic, you will work in the manufacturing and maintenance of tools used for plastic injection molding and stamping and forming technology.

Training duration: 3.5 years
Vocational school: Schwandorf and Amberg

During the apprenticeship, you will learn the basics of craftsmanship, such as turning, milling, and grinding, as well as the fundamentals of electropneumatics. In the second year, you will deepen your knowledge and start working on tool construction. You will be introduced to CAD drawing, CNC programming, robotics, and 3D printing, and you will apply these technologies in practical scenarios. The third year focuses on tool production and maintenance in the company’s in-house tool shop. By the end of the apprenticeship, you will have perfected your practical skills and will be fully prepared for your skilled worker examination!

MECHATRONICIAN (m/f/d)

Mechatronics technicians ensure that production systems keep running smoothly. They are responsible for mechanical and electrical processes as well as control technology.

During your apprenticeship, you will learn the basics of metalworking, electrical engineering, and electropneumatics. In the second year, the focus will be on control programming, 3D printing, and robotics, while you deepen your knowledge of metalworking and electrical systems. The third year revolves around exciting mechatronic projects involving production systems, manufacturing machines, and new constructions. You will actively collaborate with the engineering team on innovative projects. By the end of your apprenticeship, you will have perfected your practical skills and will be fully prepared for your skilled worker examination!

ELECTRONICIAN (m/f/d)
FOR DEVICES AND SYSTEMS

Electronics technicians for devices and systems manufacture components and devices, such as those used in electrical and information technology or measurement and testing technology. They commission systems and devices and ensure their maintenance.

During your apprenticeship, you will learn all about basic electronic circuits, electrical engineering, and electropneumatics. Then, you will dive deeper into the subject, testing control systems and examining hardware and software. In the third year, you will work on exciting projects and explore power electronics. Finally, you will refine your skills through hands-on experience and prepare for your skilled worker examination!

PLASTICS AND RUBBER TECHNOLOGIST (m/f/d)

Plastics and rubber technologists plan the production of molded parts and prepare the necessary machines and systems for the process. They monitor the equipment and each individual production step to ensure efficiency and quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Vocational school: Rehau

During your apprenticeship, you will learn the basics of metalworking, such as drilling, turning, and milling, as well as the processing of plastics. You will deepen your knowledge of electropneumatics and hydraulics and become proficient in programming injection molding machines. From preparing the plastics to ensuring the quality of the final products – you will gain comprehensive experience in every step of the process. By the end of your apprenticeship, you will be fully prepared for your skilled worker examination!

During your apprenticeship with us, you can expect an exciting mix of practical work and theoretical knowledge. In our modern workshop and various departments, you will have the opportunity to expand your craftsmanship skills and deepen what you've learned in vocational school.

Despite the intense learning, there will still be plenty of time for relaxation and socializing with your fellow apprentices. Shared activities like jogging, playing football, or going on excursions ensure that you can fully enjoy your apprenticeship experience. Team spirit and a strong sense of community among apprentices are very important to us.

Your Resume
Your resume is like your business card – just with more details. Make it clear and well-structured. What interests us? Your schools, internships, volunteer work, special skills, and hobbies. Don't forget to include your address, the date, and your signature at the bottom.
Your Cover Letter
Your cover letter should show us who you are. Tell us about your goals, aspirations, and talents. What do you expect from the apprenticeship? Why do you want to start at emz? And most importantly: Why are you the right fit for us? Stay authentic, and try to keep it to one A4 page. We're excited to hear from you!
Your Certificates
Of course, we're also interested in how you're doing in school. Please send us copies of your last two school reports. Have you already done internships or part-time jobs? Feel free to include certificates or confirmations. Also, any proof of language, computer, or other courses is welcome.


Your application should include a personal cover letter, a resume (in tabular form), your school certificates, and any proof of internships, if applicable.
